This Guide contains a list of Djinn that can be found in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, along with some detail on how to obtain them. This is also a list of Summon Tablets that can be found in the game. Summon Tablets allow the player to use multi-elemental summons with djinn and gives the player a more variety of choices in gameplay.

There is nothing else to do in Harapa, so exit the city to the southeast once you have done your shopping. There are several areas you can now access if you go far enough, but we're sticking with the story for now. Don't worry, you will access those locations eventually anyway. Instead, after exiting the city, just head generally northeast. You will soon come to the Passaj Mountain Pass, which is located near a little signpost.Passaj Mountain Climb By now, you're probably very comfortable with using environmental spells to affect the land. We'll try to streamline our solutions to the puzzles from here on out. From the start, go west and follow the path as you climb some stairs.

Drop the moveable rock you come to, then continue to the right. Keep going past the torn ladder, and cast Whirlwind on the flower that is inexplicably growing on the rocky ledge. Hopping across there and continuing on the path will let you advance to the next section.Section 2 Immediately inside the next room is a huge hole with a powerful updraft.

Four dancing green cubes are near the hole. You can go to each cube, face the direction of the hole, then press A to shove the cube into the updraft. They'll float away. This doesn't actually do anything, but it does give you a bit of insight into what's to come.

In the next room in this section, go north to find a moveable rock. You can cast Move on it to block the nearby wind gusts. Keep going, but watch the next gusts carefully. You can run between them if you time it right. Once you do, shove the green cube into the hole, then head north through the door.Section 3 Upstairs, you will see a couple guys working on collecting green material. Turns out they make the green cubes you have been shoving around, and they are called Zol cubes. Strangely enough, you cannot cast Move on Zol cubes, but you can shove them around like the rolling logs you've been dealing with until now.

That is good to know for later.Go left, and you'll see a multi-tiered plateau with a Zol cube near it. Cast Whirlwind on the Zol cube, climb the ladders, then hop across to continue.Section 4 Cross the bridge and enter through the door to the main room. Here, you'll get to start playing with a Zol cube again. Shove the cube to the right, then climb the ladders. Time your movements to run between the gusts, then slide down and shove the Zol cube to the south. Then, shove it east: it will eventually stop and catch a gust to float.

Follow the path around, the climb the ladders, hop across to the cube, and jump over to a treasure chest. The cube might fall down then, but will catch a gust again to allow you to hop back.

Once you've done that, enter the nearby door.venus djinn #3 - bark You're back in Section 3, just on the other side of the room. Slide down, then move slowly left. You'll see a Djinni, but you'll need to time your run to get between the gusts to snag him. He'll start a fight, but he's a push over: just beat him into submission, don't bother wasting PP on him.

Proceed past the gusts again and climb the ladder to continue onward.Section 5 Nothing here but a linear path. After sliding off the top ledge, be sure to cast Growth on the vine before sliding down again. Once there, you'll need to hop right, then climb up the cliff. You'll climb up, then sidestep left on the cliff, then climb again. Hop left, and you'll be at your vine.

Climb it, ignore the cave to your left for now, and head up the rocky stairs to your north. (Keep in mind that you will not be doing anything with the vine for many hours, but this way it will be waiting for you when you're ready.) Keep following the linear path, and you'll soon be in Passaj itself.Passaj Passaj itself is a normal town. Explore at your leisure, though know there isn't much major for you to get. The armor and weapon shops are closed for now.

However, you can gain some Quality Zol material by going downstairs in the healer's shop. You can shove a giant Zol platform right, down, and right eventually to get access to the treasure chest. You can't do anything with the Zol material yet, but it's nice to have for the moment.Once you're ready to continue, go into the large central building of the town. This is the Alchemy Forge, but right now, it's disconnected. Karis explains what to do: shove the Zol platforms around to reconnect the power lines. It's a bit more complicated than that, but that's the gist.Go stay on the bottom-level but go to the northeast of the room. There is a Zol platform there, but you can't quite get it into position yet.

To the left of the platform is gray rock with a red stripe around it at the top. Cast Move and send it to the right. Now you can shove the nearby Zol platform around, pushing it to the north and then completing the right circuit. Now head over to the left side.

Shove the left Zol platform—the one with the power line running north-south—to the right, then up. Shove the final Zol platform left, then up, then right, then up again. That'll complete the left circuit. Cast Fireball on the spot Karis tells you. The forge lights up.After a cut scene, you'll be told to go the meeting hall, which is the building just north of the forge.

You'll have another cut scene, and be given an item called a Tree Flute. With that done, your task is to get to the city of Ayuthay. To get there, you'll need to exit this entire area. That means proceeding with the relatively slow climb down through Sections 1 through 5 of the mountain pass. It should be a breeze due to the fact that you've already got the puzzles solved, and the fact that you can bypass a lot of the obstacles by riding the wind gusts, so it's just a matter of tearing through any enemies in your way foolish enough to try to stop you.Back at the world map, head east. Follow the road as you cross two bridges, then turn east at the fork in the road.

The road continues linearly here and at the end of it, you'll see a giant thatched roof building at the end of the road, an overgrown icon representing your destination.

Jupiter Djinn #3 - Ether Just to remind you, there's a Djinni for you to get in the forest directly west of Kaocho in the world map. Run around there a bit and you're guaranteed to encounter Ether in a fight. Defeat him and he'll join you.Head south but keep an eye on the moat. See those lily pads? They actually will hold your weight!

The lily pad in the very southeast of the moat can be used to hop across to a very narrow path, leading to a treasure chest. You'll gain armor called Sanan Dress, and this is the first piece of equipment you've found that has a potential to break. In battle, because it's armor, after enough hits it will break and become useless. You can repair armor and weapons by going to shops. For long dungeons, you might want to carry spare equipment with you jin case it breaks while you're deep in the dungeon, but it's entirely up to you.venus djinn #4 - steel There are two Djinnis hanging around in this town, and Steel is the one on the left as shown in the map.

To reach his spot, you must go around town. This is a little hard to describe, but stick with us here. In the center of the main city, head toward the inn. Don't actually go in, but from the door, you'll want to go east. You'll encounter another building, unmarked; again, don't go in. However, to the east of that building is a very narrow path, wedged between the moat on the right and the city walls to the left. Follow that narrow path north, and you'll switch areas back to outside the palace.Go as far north as you can, then hop to the right onto the lily pads. Hop to the north lily pad, then hop back left back onto the path.

There, you can climb some stone steps onto a small rocky ledge. Hop from that to stone steps of the palace. Follow the path south to the flags, and cast Grip on the flag on the far side.

Head left, climb down the ladder, then walk around the walls to the narrow path bordering the other side of the moat. Now you're in the main city area again, just on the other side. Follow the path south, continue as it wraps east for a step, then hop south across the lily pad to finally get to the Djinni over there. Long trip but worth it.

Explore around and take notes of where lily pads are for later. There is one in the southwest of the moat that leads to a Mars Djinni named Lava, but a villager is annoyingly in the way, and sadly you can't throw him in the moat to use as a stepping stone. Guess we'll have to get that one later. After exploring the city and stocking up on supplies, head north and visit the palace to continue the story. You will eventually find yourself in a labyrinth called the Ouroboros, or at least one really tiny section of it.Ouroboros Ouroboros is a safe area, so it comes down to a single puzzle. You'll know you're there when there are a half-dozen cobra statues to the north. You're forced to shove one of the statues out of the way, which pretty much gives you the clue you need to do. Hop to the south ledge, and then you can cast Move on each statue to get it out of the way on the other side.

Djinn

Your target is the second-to-last statue, the one with the telltale glowing light behind it. Simply move that one to continue onward. Then, it's a linear path through a cave to a leaf. Grow it, climb it, then exit the next cave through the nearby south-facing door. You'll find yourself back outside the palace. It's probably not a good idea to upset the emperor by showing up on his front doorstep again, and you've got a letter to get you into another city anyway, so you know where to go next.Okay, now.Make sure you're fully stocked up, because once you enter the next area, you'll be locked out of the rest of the world for a little while.

If you're set, you can leave Kaocho through the nearby exit to the east, after hopping on a couple more lily pads. If you're not stocked up, head back into the main part of the city and purchase what you need. When you're ready, exit Kaocho and follow the road all the way to the west.

You'll soon come to a fork that you've seen before: a bridge leading north back to Passaj, and the road leading west to an area you haven't seen yet. That western path is your target. The road continues linearly here, taking you to the beach, across two more bridges into Ayuthay.
