Puzzle Quest 2 Barbarian Build

While every character has a tiny bit of synergy, the assassin is far and away the most powerful.Defense: 10/10Not unlike the sorcerer, the assassin has a shield using purple mana. What makes it even better than Ice Shield for the sorcerer is that if you have under 13 mana when you use it, it doesn't end your turn. On top of that.Attack: 15/10 (yes, it's that good)The spell which gives you almost impenetrable defense also doubles the power of your main attacks.

If that wasn't enough, you can use Disarm which doubles it yet again. At level 50, you could easily be doing minimum 50 damage on each attack. The final spell, which destroys all purple effectively does 8 damage per purple. On big maps, you can easily get over 200 (I had 240 recently) in damage. In addition, the assassin only weapons can poison. The best poison damage is quite powerful and cannot be blocked. On top of that, the poison can stack, so you can use two poison weapons for double the damage. Not that you really ever NEED to use your weapon, but it's nice when you get enemies that jack their defense up really high.Gaining Mana: 6/10Have to somewhat rely on items for this and just luck at the beginning.

Level 43 Templar meets the Green Dragon in Quick Battle mode. I didn't record the whole fight since it took quite some time, but here's the ending. Too bad the achievement still awaits me, need to. Dec 20, 2013  Get each stat up to 3, then 6, then 10 for the bonuses. Don't spend money or resources upgrading armour until you hit Scalemail. Do spend money and resources upgrading a Barbarian-specific weapon with the Hellforged prefix.

The only reason it isn't lower is because the strikes morph the mana into purple, allowing you to easily get purple mana. You can generally get enough fours in purple to give you time to build up the others.Weak sides:The only real weakness is that starting up can be a bit slow.

Although she cannot stun, her ability to chain together attacks (highly damaging ones at that), make that point almost moot. On big boards she absolutely destroys.

With just a tiny bit of luck, no enemy should get more than one turn on a large board.

My wife FINALLY beat him last night and she had a lot of trouble getting through. I had not played the game at all, but her asking me for help got me into it.Basically I had her go back through all the other screens, make sure that she had battled everyone else she could, to get all the XP available up to that point, also had her find all the hidden treasures in all the rooms. Then with whatever amount of cash she had available, she went back and also upgraded her weapons to the max possible.

By this time, she was at around level 20 from when she was at level 16 before and was able to take him down without him even so much as taking two shots at her.Something else to do, is to do quick battles, if you're missing any items for upgrading your weapons to max and have the cash for it.I'll ask her for tips and see if she posts them here to help you out some more. I had a bit of a hard time with the yeti myself. I just beat him. I explored the rest of the ice caves to get as many levels as possible then went back to confront the beast.I'm playing with the Sorcerer.

I mainly used Dark Channels to absorb all the red mana from the board. First off it denies him the ability to power that Crush move of his, and also it does 1 damange for every 1 red mana that you collect.Chasm was also a vital part in taking him down. Try to line up as many skulls and purple gems in a single attack as possible.

On average I did about 30 damage per Chasm.Even if you're not playing with the Sorcerer the most important thing to remember is to NOT use any blue gems and try to use as many red gems as possible. He heals when blue gems are used and he takes damage when red gems are used.Good luck with this. I got an epic fail on this chump too:/. Frustrating on the healing. I got stupid with a Blue Mana build which kept healing him. I found that using my Sorcerer's skill to knock all the reds off the board was handy - along with a little legenday/epic poison damage. Then mix a combo of maxxing out damage/extend turn/defence with your other skill/item selections.

If you can build a character around red mana it should be a breeze. I build mine around blue unfortunately. Which made it a tad on the impossible side until I switched up tactics. I bet Yeti on 9th or 10th (don't remember) try with the Templar on Normal difficulty. I was level 12 and used spells Defensive Wall, Brace, Focus, Counter Attack and Rush. I also had a mace, which dealt 13 damage for 6 action points and 13% chance of critical attack.A tactic was to collect as more yellow and action gems as possible and not letting the Yeti to collect red ones.

Also, don't forget about the Defensive Wall - apply this spell when there's a huge ammount of purple gems. The sooner you do it, the better chances for survival you'll have. When your yellow mana reaches maximum and you have about 50-60 action points, you can stun the Yeti with Rush and start beating him with weapon. Don't forget about matching gems on the board, if there are some good combos.P.S. However, everything depends on luck, I have to admit it.Good luck.
